Benefits of Using Leap Chair In The Office

I've been working in an office for so many years now and for office workers like us, the most common health problem in the work place is back pains. Being seated for more than eight hours a day facing a computer screen is no joke. It can lead to a bad posture, eye strain and head ache.  When we remain seated for hours on a daily basis, our body begin to adapt to a sedentary life style, we get used to it and because of this our body system begins to slow down.

Years ago, I was suffering from lower back pains.  When we remain seated for hours, the weight of our body gets concentrated in our lower back and this causes tension in our muscles.  I had undergone therapy for quite sometime until my condition gets better.  Now I'm totally free from back pains, but I can't totally avoid long seating as it is what my job requires.  Good thing that there is a leap chair now to solve this problem.  Investing in a good ergonomic office product can help us keep our bodies in good shape.  A leap chair, unlike any other ordinary office chair, moves as your back moves. It has a flexible back rest which ensures that your back is always supported.  It also has a dynamic seat that can be reclined when needed and a head rest to release the pressure in the neck.  A lot of good things has been said about using a leap chair especially in an office set up.  The leap offers a lumbar support the whole day.

I'd been into a company in the past which supports health and safety in the work place and one of their primary concern is providing a safety and healthy environment for all the employees.  We even had a Safety Manager in the company who was tasked to look after the safe working conditions of the employees.  For maintenance personnel, a lot of things should be looked into especially so that they are normally working outdoors and safety hazard is always present.  But for employees who are staying in the office the whole day, there is lesser concern on safety issues aside from acquiring long term health problems such as back pains and eye strain if not properly looked into.  Providing ergonomic office products is a good way of helping the employees to avoid such health problems and employees are lucky and blessed if they happened to work in a company who go out of it's way to protect the health and general safety of it's employees.

Good for you sis! Ako, I set a timer after every 2.5 hours. I do a little walk and stretching for 10 minutes before I sit on the chair para I minimize and prevent back pains from working.

I'm thankful the chairs here in my workplace are leap chairs. Desks, keyboard holders, etc. everything can be adjusted as needed. Still some employees develop backpains. I guess its from sitting too long in front of the comp.

I'm working at home so I sit a lot in front of the computer. It's indeed a must to have the appropriate chair to avoid the back pains.

This is the first time I've heard about the leap chair and I don't have any idea what it looks like. Hope to see a picture of it.

Companies really spend a lot to find ergonomic chairs for employees. I also need better chairs for the home, because I still spend a lot of time in front of my PC and that's not good for my back. hehe
