October 28 marks the last day of my vacation in the
Philippines but it also signifies the beginning of my one week vacation at
Bangkok with my kids. It’s so sad to
leave home once again. I’ll be terribly
missing a lot of things. Nothing can
beat the true comfort and relaxation brought about by your own home. The feeling is really different.
Anyway, life has to move on.
I have to go back to my commitments at work. Before doing so, I have to fulfill my promise
to my kids that I will treat them for a week long vacation at Bangkok. I wouldn’t be home for Christmas so this
would be my Christmas treat and gift to them.
At least, I could spend time with them for their Christmas shopping.
Both my son and daughter were really excited for the
trip. It’s going to be their first time
in Bangkok and they’ve heard a lot about the place which made them really look
forward for the trip. Exactly after
lunch last Oct 28, their things were all ready.
Lucio was excited for our trip but he felt sad too as he will be left at home (lol)
It was our first time to take a flight from Clark Airport as
we used to take a flight from Manila. It’s
also my first time to try Tiger Airways.
I used to take Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. Wow, everything is first. You could just imagine how much excitement do
we have. As a matter of fact, I felt
more excited in our trip to Bangkok that when we had our trip to Hoh Chi Min
City Vietnam. Our flight was delayed for
about an hour but finally, we were able to take the flight.
We arrived at Bangkok past 9 PM.
Kids were truly amazed at Bangkok’s Subharnavumi Airport. It’s very huge, nice and well organized. Well, far better than our airport in Manila
and the ones that I’ve tried at Vietnam and even at Siem Riep in Cambodia.
We’ve decided to take a quick dinner at the airport before
we’ve finally decided to proceed to the hotel were we had our booking for our
one week stay. There are lots of
restaurants in the airport but as expected, the price is a little bit higher than
the normal. I paid almost THB500 (around
$17) for 3 orders of very basic meal.
The trip was a bit tiring but our excitement didn't allow us to feel that way. After that quick dinner, we immediately find our way out from the airport. We took the Airport Link to Phaya Thai Station. This station is very close to our hotel.
We ended up reaching our hotel at around 10PM. It was a long day but we are full of enthusiasm in welcoming our second day to Bangkok the following day.
Hope you can get back to know more about Bangkok and our adventures.
Ciao!
Aww! It's very obvious it's a good bonding with you and your kids Ate Krizz! :) ♥
