Book Review - "Ang Buhay Na Hindi Bitin"
Months ago, I've made a review on "Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin" by Ardy Roberto, Jr. More than the review itself, I find pleasure reading the book and I'm happy to say that it turned out to be my most popular post. That only proves one thing, that many people now are becoming more and more conscious about financial management. At the back cover of this book, I found another title almost similar to the first one, "Ang Buhay na Hindi Bitin" from the same author.
Before I took my vacation last April, I did ask my son to get me a copy of the second book. Why not? If we are conscious enough to know how to manage our financial difficulties, then how much more our life's difficulties? I was actually expecting the book to be somewhat identical in size with the first one but to my surprise, my son texted me and told me that the book is only less than 30 pages and it only costs P10.00 per copy. That time, PCBS is even having a book sale, so my son got the book for a discounted price of P8.50. I asked myself, "what? A book for P8.50?
When I get back home, my son handed to me the book. It's true it's less than 30 pages. It's a kind of book that you can finish in one seating!
The book was written in a very simple but very direct approach. When you read the book, you will feel that the author was talking to you personally. It's very light content will make you feel at ease to continue reading the book until the end. Sometimes, I encounter books which are written in a very complicated manner, terms used are hard to digest and the way ideas were presented is quite complicated that you need to read between the lines for you to understand. This book is simple and direct. It will enable you to reflect about your life... your worries, problems and fears. It will point you the reason why you are feeling the emptiness within yourselves despite your financial success. Best of all, it will teach you how to fill those emptiness. The ideas presented are supported by quotes from the Bible. The book will walk you through and take you by the hand until you discover how to be a new creation in very simple steps.
I would admit,I hate reading thick books. I feel bored going through the same thing over and over again. We must admit, it's such a bore to read books on religions especially if the explanation is done in a complicated manner. The greatest challenge confronting the religious authors now is how to engage their audience to read their books and finish it until the last page.
I recommend this book for everyone to read! In fact, it doesn't choose a particular age group. The explanation was so simple that even the young audience can very well relate to. Moreover, it is an "eye opener" for those who want to seek the truth about life and as a Christian.
Because the book is priced very reasonably, it can be bought in batches of 10 or more and would be a perfect give away for your friends and relatives. A gift of love and concern for them to reach that "Life That Is Not Bitin" :)
