It's been a while since my last post. I had a lot of catching up to do at home. It's great to be in your home country once again. Familiar faces, familiar smiles and of course, familiar place.....my home. Last October 20, I was able to deal with two things...celebrate my son's birthday and do a house make over. Well..it's not really a complete make over though but I was lucky enough to have some "extra money" to purchase few furniture pieces that will give my own bedroom and the house terrace a "new look". My bedroom is not really specious..it's just of a standard size 12 x 12 ft...so, I really have to choose some furniture pieces which will be multifunctional. I should be having a small table for the laptop and a also a storage area for my body and skin care products and also some storage spaces for my purchases abroad which are not being used yet but just being kept as part of my stock...me being a shopaholic. :)
So, I went out of the house to complete my son's requirements for his birthday. I had a last minute info that there will be some few friends invited to come over. So a day before his birthday, I also manage to scout for some cool furniture pieces as well. So...here's what I actually got:
A Garden set which doubles as a coffee table....... perfect for having an afternoon chat with friends over a cup of coffee or tea. This is a simple yet an elegant "must have" for terrace or patios.
A mini dresser with a drawer and a small chair. At the back of the mirror are secret shelves which are perfect for storing perfumes, lotions, skin care products, make ups, hair accessories, etc.
On the left is a separate cabinet with multiple layers, perfect for storing my purchases abroad like hand bags, souvenir shirts, etc.
I also actually make use of this as a laptop table as well, since I'm having more than one mirror inside the bedroom already.
It was a very busy day for me last Oct. 20. I get to cook some dishes and at the same time have to rearrange my things. I was fully occupied the whole day, but the feeling is rewarding as I was able to accomplish some little projects that I've been planning to do for quite a long time already.
